The astronauts a part of SpaceX’s Crew-10 mission are on their way back home. Their Dragon capsule known as Endurance is scheduled to splash down at roughly 11:33 AM Japanese time without work the coast of California. Endurance undocked from the Worldwide Area Station at 6:15PM Japanese on August 8 with NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, Japan Aerospace Exploration Company (JAXA) astronaut Takuya Onishi and Roscosmos cosmonaut Kirill Peskov onboard. They stayed on the ISS for five months and left every week after Crew-11 arrived to take their place.
Whereas they had been on the area station, Crew-10 helped increase our data on the physiological and psychological changes people bear on long-duration missions that vary from weeks to a 12 months. In addition they noticed how blood flows from the mind to the center in microgravity, among the many different research and experiments they performed.
As NASA notes, this might be its first Business Crew mission to splash down into the Pacific Ocean, as earlier capsules splashed down off the coast of Florida. NASA will broadcast the crew’s return, with its protection beginning at 10:15AM as we speak, August 9. You possibly can watch Endurance splash down into the ocean on NASA+ or on the YouTube video embedded under.
